Why I like Dynamic Queue.

It's simple. A game is 30-50 minutes long.

Given the choice between spending that time with:

A) Friends, who will be fun to play with whether we win or lose, who will create memorable game experiences, foster a learning environment, and have a positive attitude.

B) Some selfish stranger(s) with obvious anxiety and anger management issues who hatespams chat for 40 minutes.

I choose A.

People say Dynamic Queue is "boosting", but really, isn't it just ensuring that teamwork and a general positive attitude are truly the high-impact core skills they should be?

There are single player video games out there every bit as fun as LoL. Go play those.

True. It's more fun with friends. Nobody is denying that.

But ranked is not the place for mixing premades and solo players. Being successful in a premade involves focusing on coordination and coordination. Being successful as a solo player involves focusing on adaptation, leadership, and individual macro/micro skill.

They are all important skills, but ranking players on the same ladder based on very different criteria is just...wrong.

You can't rank people on the same ladder for completely different skill-sets. That's like saying birds are inferior to fish because they are worse swimmers. It doesn't work that way. A Bronze 5 can be carried to Gold with good teammates, if he can follow orders. That's why people are saying this is like boosting.

Well, that and streamers literally accepting money to carry people with dynamic queue. But that's a different issue.

i have no friends, and going against 3-5 man teams with voice comms is cancer [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

Sure, that might be more fun. But then, having fun isn't the point of ranked; competitiveness is. Hence what I've been saying for months; keep dynamic queue for normals, not ranked.

Want to compete WITH friends? Ranked 5s or duo.

They removed team ranked, that makes your arguement invalid.

Can I only down vote this troll once?

Meh it is more fun to play with friends but overall its really a dumb concept. A game even more team based than League (Heroes of the Storm ) implemented a very similar system and changed it to solo/duo queue shortly after release because they realized what a disaster allowing large premades is on the ladder.

I do agree with you on A, and B

they way things are going i dont see solo Q ever returning to this game.

ive played since season 2, so i have been around, i know LoL.

everyone and every game now a days is increasingly using comms and more communication, like ts and the other million programs out there like mumble.. ect...

i would not be surprised if one day league of legends decides to add comms physically to the game, to promote communication.

all of this still does not mean Dynamic Que is better than solo que, its just means more and more people like you, when given a choice to have a premade game or non premade will choose premade, why? as you said less trolls, more wins, more fun, ect, ect,

but in the skill aspect solo q, makes you realize how good you really are, we are not PRO players, we are bronze, silver, gold, plat, ect

I will give you an example of the difference since you clearly do not understand.

Example in solo que:

Im top lane vs another top laner ,although its a fair matchup(champs) I am winning trades and lane, cs, ect, his jungler is decent but somehow unaware that his teammate is losing lane, so he rarely "ganks" or helps, allowing me to "win my lane" easy thus my team getting the advantage, be aware though that me winning my top lane does not necessarily mean that my team will win this game.

Key Point: I won top lane because of my skills/and lack of communication between enemy jungle and his top laner

Example in Dynamic Que: Im top lane vs another top lane, although it is also a fair matchup(champs) I am winning trades and lane, and cs, but the enemy top laner is on comms with his jungler, he says something like "Man, this top laner is good, could I get a gank, and a little help" , immediate after this the jungle realize that in skill I am better than his friend the top laner, so he camps my lane, because I am not on comms with my jungler, i type on chat: "help geting camped", more often than not my jungler who does not know, will ignore my request or simply be 2 late to understanding that iam fighting a 2v1 lane. because I am getting camped, I cannot cs as good, and the enemy makes a comeback, theres also a chance I can make a mistake and die to a gank, due note that because I am very likely to lose my lane, this does not mean that my team will not win the game.

Key Point: I lost lane because of enemy top laner communication with his/her jungler, and because of lack of communication with my jungle.

Although this is a "crazy" example, its not 2 far from what solo players and people are experiencing in this new Dynamic Que.

The Main Point of my story: Even though I was more skilled, experienced, better player than the enemy top laner I lost my lane due to better communication.

I ask that to you: Is that fair?

I personally have had games where, I have had 3 people, YES, 3 people gank me top lane before the 10min mark. did these people somehow type to each other, yo lets 3 man gank top?.... no..... they were in comms together and realized that I was a threat that needed to be taken down early.

Its not fair for the solo player, so what can we do?

Nothing, its simple as Khurby plainly stated A. Friends. that what I need to do now, is get on comms and get friends in order to win my lane, because natural skill and talent is simply not enough to win lanes anymore.

Communication and Map Awareness wins games and lanes, not personal skill. It has always been this way, and now more than ever.

EDIT****Dont get me wrong i dont dislike or like the Dynamic que, i think what riot is doing is genius and a good way to get people to play together and in groups, but the "solo" players are the ones who will and are suffering because of this. untill they get the memo.

We had Ranked 5's u know, where teamwork & synergy was the whole point. Look what happened to it ... also positive attitude can be achieved by playing Normals with friends, instead of making ranked useless via Boost Queue.

I like dynamic queue too. I just don't always want to play it. Most of my play time is solo and I'd rather play with other solo players like me.
