Just wondering. I know Karthus players who are totally beast at timing and can get pentakills with nothing but an ult
it seems cool to get an auto pentakill as Karthus, you know, so you can put it on youtube and stuff.
Critmaster Garen1 votesplaying karthus is not about getting the all the kills for yourself. you ult, when the enemy has fully commited to the fight, to secure the victory for your team. you dont wait until the fight is over, your allies are dead or to ks your team.
if you bring all the enemies to 1/3 of their health, and your team cleans them up, so be it. you won the fight. thats what counts.

maybe. still, you deal the most damage and get the most out of the ult, when all 5 enemies are still alive and you dont deal too much overdamage. meaning as karthus you should ult early enough. but not before the enemy team can still bail.
sometimes it makes even sense to ult right before a fight. for example if thge enemy team is stuck in the dragon or baron pit, and your team is about to go in on them.

no, he ults after everyone is dead and enemyes have 200 hp left
Erockandroll1 votesBest way I can think of is to catch the enemy as their doing baron, Flash into the baron pit and do carpet damage, And have the rest of your team keep the enemy in the pit as you channel your ult during Deaths defile. Though Realistically if you can just get some assists from that ability it's enough.
It's difficult to Just kill someone typically because Invulnerability, spell shields, or Zonya's can completely counter it. Though if You want the enemy to Insta give, make sure to go Hyper late game build. (I typically build Tear RoA)
