Apart from video. Theoretically tank Zilean with Iceborn Gauntlet, Guardian Angel and a lot of CDR should be pretty disruptive with all his stuns and slows. Kinda utility tank. With awkward peel (stun, slow) but with pretty useful supporting (speed, revive). I know Zilean mid is a thing. But what about support tank Zilean?
SOLOQSUPERHERO1 votesI used to do tank lulu/janna support with the same kind of idea, Zilean is really good against Hecarim and Yasuo (the slow really messes him up when he's trying to e spam through your team.)
It works ok honestly. It's best when the team doesn't look at your items, because you can pick up some fun kills when the enemy thinks they can tower dive a squishy janna. I think the new support items make it harder to do though, a lot of them are really strong and it kind of leaves you squishier than you'd like to be to really "be a tank"
Free Punk V1 votesSeems good. Because he is only good for the slow and stun. Only thing you lose is he Health your ally is revived with. Only half HP without any AP on Zilean.
