Blindly sucking down builds like they're cheap dong is what makes most of the League playerbase so irreparably mediocre; they won't ever do anything definitive, so even if the build reflects nothing they can play, someone else said it was good so they just smash it in.
I've seen enough AD Threshes scrape the bottom of the barrel for performance to know that there is a lot more than build that goes into being good.
There is no magic item in League of Legends that fixes stupid.
