Why are you removing the damage on her R? You already eviscerated all of Leonas damage when Runes Reforged launched. Now she REALLY REALLY REALLY does no damage, like, less damage than 0 AP Enchanters. Thats the worst part about these patch notes.

Wtf is this W change? You are buffing her vs Teemo, Malzahar, and Cass? Why? thingsshe never had issues with to begin with. She is struggling to even be viable in the botlane, and you throw this useless anti DoT mechanic onto her W, which doesnt effect bot lane AT ALL. The most useful aspect of this flat reduction W, is that it helps her clear Raptors/Krugs more healthily. Which is also pointless, because she can already do that, and if you wanted to make her a jungler, all you had to do was allow Zenith Blade to drag her to large monsters.

this is so dissapointing that this left the conference table as a good idea.

Really? Damage from brand isn't affected at all by a DOT negation? Autos aren't reduced at all by the flat damage reduction against each source of damage?

It's objectively better against low-damage high-rate sources of damage, which, as surprising as it might be, describes what AA-based champions, such as ADCs, usually have

AA's are going to impact her nearly the same... she also lost armor on her W -15 armor +8 flat reduction. Is like what, a 2damage differencial? Its a useless change that doesnt address anything wrong with Leona, and not nearly not even remotely close to enough to justify nerfing her alrdy horrible damage output. Its marginally useful vs Brand and Zyra, but not enough to justify picking Leona. Zyra is still going to root Zenith Blade mid cast. Brand vs Leona is still going to be a equal grounded skill matcup all the same.

the W change, as irrelevant as it is, is fine. Dont care about that. its the R change that is totally offbase.

The 8 flat is permanent, not a temporary buff while W is active though.

While against even an adc that rushes AS first for whatever reason the flat damage mitigation is negligible, the fact this change applies to true damage, which includes Ignite, is actually useful for her in surviving engages that leave her low. And outside of Flash, I'd actually say Ignite has the highest potential presence as a summoner spell currently.
