Miss Fortune support?

I've seen some high elo try this with some success, usually with a Ezreal or Lucian ADC. I'm curious as to how this became common in high elo and what the advantage of it is.

Mf support is generally built AP due to the insanse Ap ratios and damage MF E provides. Some advantages to doing this would be...

You provide excellent poke in the early games.
Your E can proc thunderlords and slows the enemies. Good peel.
Most people aren't used to seeing AP MF support and will generally underestimate her damage.
If you can get a and no one can escape you ever. Except Master Yi when he ults.

I would suggest playing MF support now though and get your fix in before this won't work anymore. I heard from a buddy of mine who is generally right about this stuff that MF is going to be gettin hit hard on her E ratio next patch and this alone will probably ruin MF support and make it unplayable.

level 1 easy abuse of thunderlords to get cheese kill - if this fails the lane falls to any all in.

She has really strong early game damage. Early game is an important time for a solo queue support player to carry.

She transitions into pretty significant aoe damage. Champions that bring a lot of ranged aoe dmg without a ton of gold sometimes make it as support one way or another. If you catch the lead it makes the game feel like you have another carry.

MF herself is just too powerful in general. It helps frost queen's gold income is sooo strong...
