Both ADCs currently in line for a rework are performing great at the moment...

Ashe and Urgot are ADCs that, until recently, have had a hard time finding a place in the meta. Now, one of them is pick/ban in competitive play, and the other has the highest win rate among all ADCs in solo queue. So of course now is the time to rework both of them. I guess they can look forward to joining Trist in a cabinet somewhere.

There is no point to this post, other than noting that this timing is hilarious.

Ashe performs well, but this "rework" is more of a few kit tweaks that the Ashe community has been begging Riot to do for years now. Her crit passive is no longer a boring PoS that works once per fight. Her slow no longer is a huge drain on her mana. She now has a steroid instead of her gold gain passive--an AD-multiplicative steroid, which, if you understand how math works, is a pretty huge deal.

Urgot...is a living problem for balance. Perhaps an undead problem for balance, if you wish to nitpick. His kit is one that, when it performs well, absolutely stomps anything in his way; when it performs poorly, you can't even tell what he actually did wrong, because his score is still decent and he's still making good plays.

LOL WELL

If you don't mind scrolling back on threads.

2-3 months ago every one asks for rework on urgot and everyone says ashe needs an update.

Riot worked on it, and now is releasing it and BOOM "FUCK RIOT WHY YOU DO DIS" lmao

Poor Riot.

Dude, stop bullshiting, you would be lucky to see at least 1 ashe or urgot in 100 games if you are beyond gold.

Have you noticed that it's a trend? That also happened to Zilean and Veigar

rip support ashe though.

the e was helping with catching up with gold by midgame, yb farming a couple creepwaves. ive recently laned support ashe with a lucian, and it went absolutely great by rushing ancient coin and avarice blade.

the slow, ult and hawkshot successfully prevented ganks and created opportunities for him to kill our opponents. i even got some kills for myself out of that lane without dieing and we took the enemy turret really fast.

i even hit some cross map ults which got me some assists. i hope the rework will preserve the ability to support on her. i guess the 2 hawkshots will help with that.

but the crit on her passive is another early game core mechanic for support ashe. it adds some punch to her poke.

Urgot currently has become a balance problem once again, at least for competitive. Which is only natural with the kind of kit he has.

Lanebully between Q and E? Check. Point&Click CC? Check. Late-game usefulness? Armor shred on E, good synergy with Muramana and, most impactful, the passive 15% damage reduction on ALL damage the target deals.
