LCS Casters: You need to combo two point and click abilities to handle Leblanc.

During the NA LCS showmatch this week between CLG and TSM, you can catch the following comment:

"Aprhromoo [as Nautilus] and ZionSpartan [as Maokai] and are going to have to combo to keep Bjergsen [on Leblanc] down. Those two guys with the point and clicks. That's what you need against Leblanc."

Just to be clear, LCS casters are acknowledging that you need not one, but TWO point and click CC abilities comboed together to keep Leblanc down. This seems like an appropriate time to note that these abilities are becoming increasingly rare as it seems to be in vogue to change them into skill shots.

What if your team doesn't even have one point and click hard CC ability? The reality is that Leblanc can only be countered at champ select. This seems to run counter to one of Riot's long stated principles that games not be decided at champ select.

I don't actually expect any Red comments, and I understand that Leblanc's W speed and E width may be getting a nerf, but I'm concerned that the practical counterplay for champions without point and click CC may remain low. For example, last night I played a game as Sion jungle where our team had no point and click CC, and Leblanc literally danced in and out with impunity dominating the entire game. If I had been playing Warwick jungle, we would have had no issue killing her. This is such a huge disparity that has nothing to do with choices I make in the game.
