Okay, so what stats are now correct on Sona? Is AP no longer a valid choice?

Seems that if you try to get ANY AP as Sona now, you'll be too squishy and die, or your utility is too weak or missing critical parts. But if you don't get any, your spells have no potency. And if you don't get 40% CDR as Sona... well, that's just plain stupidity.

What a conundrum...

What stats are correct on Sona? Um, I'll try to list them if I can. Her auto-attack range is perfect, probably makes her viable as an ADC, so I'll assume that's what she's supposed to be. Crescendo is fine where it is, she can use it similar to Ashe or Varus to hold somebody in place while she whittles them down with Infinity Edge. Her movement speed and magic resistance are decent as well, right where she needs to be as an ADC champion. I think I'm done, as you can see she's quite usable as a marksman. Unfortunately, she's unsuited for any other role.

It's only trolling if you don't legitimately believe what you're saying. I've played ADC Sona before, as my match history will attest and when a champion fails in their intended role, they're thrown into another. IE: support Vel'koz

sona is no longer a valid choice? what have you been doing since lich bane came out? I have been maining sona since i started league of legends. She has ALWAYS been a valid choice because of ONE item, LICH BANE. her low cooldowns allow her to spam for lich procs. When you build ap you get more out of your heal and more damage out of your power chords. If you know HOW to play sona you can potentially 100-0 someone in less then a second. With sonas rework in patch 4.13 she gets more damage on her next aa after using q the scaling on her passive and q and q bonus damage on next aa are 20% ap 50% ap and 25% ap respectively. also assuming level 18 with all abilities leveled to max you will be doing 863 damage with a lich bane proc you will be doing 1188 damage in less then a second not uncluding dfg or bonus ap/ad from temporary aura. Just seeing 1188 damake with only 500 ap makes me and some other people think she IS a viable choice. END OF STORY!!!
