In all honesty, when exactly is spear of shojin getting removed or reworked?

Nobody likes to play against the champions who abuse this item (which boil down into Renekton, Riven, and Jax) and it’s old iteration was evident that the item should’ve never been introduced to begin with. It’s the reason why Riven is insane right now (that and the fact she can instantly stack Conqueror) and why Jax can quite literally 1v5 entire teams (I’ve done it before first hand and it’s hilarious how desperately your opponents try to face you as you mindlessly spam your E to negate auto attacks AND reduce aoe damage).

Please. Riven will still be as good as she is now and Jax will still outscale every champion in the game with or without this item. It literally has no reason to exist other than to bring players to the brink of insanity. I’m not one to complain about the state of balance in league cause quite frankly I don’t care, but how exactly this item made it onto live servers is beyond me. For fucks sake literally only TWO champions out of over 100 will build this item almost every other game if that’s not evidence it shouldn’t exist than what is???
