getting +26 per win, but op.gg says elo normal?

i was wondering if i was gonna skip ranks, so I went to op.gg and it said my elo was 'normal' but im getting +26 or +27 per win? isn't that high enough to skip?

Its because your mmr is normal for people of your rank, but at the start of the season everyones mmr is going to be higher than their rank until they climb to around where they were before.

op.gg has a shit way to calculate the mmr

I'm trash silver and didn't play much ranked last season and was bronze. I'm getting an insane amount per win as well, last I checked I think it was over 25. Op gg says mine was normal or like slightly higher than my rank.
