Questions about Urgot and possible synergy with new items/patch

So was considering how urgots passive reduces incoming damage by 15%, if that is stacked with new phantom dancer that would add another 12%. If that was then combined with a level 3 Ult would that mean he could reduce damage incoming from one champion by 77%?

I am considering some new applications with urgot using essence reaver and stacking crit to increase cooldown if this is true then it would help offset how squishy he would be with the build.

Thoughts?

Jumping in on this... have you found any synergy at all with the new items?

A lot of them look potentially quite good for CD or for pure dueling power, but his range is abysmal, and his Q doesn't benefit a lot from the new items (outside of CD of course)... so is Urgot still SOL as far as reasonable ADC builds go?

Some items I'm curious about: Mortal Reminder/Lord Dominik's both seem like they would work with Q (the tip doesn't say anything about normal attacks). Phantom Dancer could be good. The extra move speed might let him stick since his range is pretty terrible, and for the reasons OP mentioned. That said, isn't AS kind of meh on Urgot? I usually play him with as big of damage Qs as possible ie AD. Essence Reaver seems like a maybe. CD is always useful, but since Q doesn't crit... it might be limited. Maw might be useful since it now grants life steal and spell vamp (both of which we can use). Death's Dance maybe? It doesn't say "spell vamp"/"life steal" so maybe our Q will heal off of it? Trinity seems better now as there are fewer wasted stats... less AD though which is always no bueno.

Thoughts? I won't get to try him out until much later tonight, so I'm hoping other people have put in work for our favorite monster.
