I'd suggest linking the game.

Without context, I'd have to guess that Malphite was constantly brawling top-lane while Tristana was trying to farm/splitpush until she had her items.

When was the last time your support's haven't said nor your team haven't said "MY ADC" as in the team owns the ADC, so it's still grammatically correct if one player from that team says it. Just ambiguous.

She has no armor pen, also if she dodges his ult he's an easy target and there's no way in hell he will out damage her in a long fight. yea sure if he lands his full combo, unless she has flash or heal she's gonna die but that the price we adc pay for our damage output. You cant be incredibly strong in DPS and survive strong engages like malph, sion, or naut for example.

There is a difference between out damaging and out sustaining.

Your Trist has no AD Hybrid, AS Hybrid, MS Hybrid, and has no Defensive Hybrid items.

What did you expect? All the sudden she has lethality from nothing? She would do more damage to a single target with a multi target attack speed item? That attack speed is better than damage on a carry? That her life steal was useful with little damage?

@thread Yeah do nothing ADCs who dont do a whole lot of damage and just last hit champions are very common. It just depends on how aggro your marksman is. Tristana players usually do something like 5 AAs and an E.

Meanwhile malphite would have been in there dealing AoE damage over the course of a fight.

100 true damage per second to five people > 400 true damage per second to one person.

Well because Trist obviously build incorrectly. Tristana has very low damage to counter her Q (which is one of the biggest AS steroids on the game). You are supposed to get one AS item and the rest damage to counter that, she has 3 AS items and none of them is particularly defensive as well. Also no armor pen to make her damage even lower.
