Just want to point out that Vayne can proc Duskblade with her ult like 5 times.

"After being unseen for at least one second, your next basic attack against an enemy champion does 45-300 bonus damage." Meaning, when you Tumble with Vayne ult, not only do you get the extra 50 AD when your ult is popped, but you also get the Bonus AD from your Q proc. AKA, you can one shot a squishy target 5 times because you can continuously proc Duskblade for it has no cooldown on its passive. Imagine a build like this:

item 3147 item 3087 item 3031 item 3006 item 3142 item 3153

She already hit's me for 2/3 of my health with one Q Ult auto with item 3031 item 3087, let alone her getting that extra 300 bonus damage every second when she Tumbles. Riot, for the love of fucking Christ, but a cooldown on the passive.

Fun fact: Vayne's stealth lasts a maximum of 1 second This means that in order to proc duskblade she has to wait until her stealth is up and cannot auto earlier. This means that by going for a duskblade, she's losing out on a potential 1-2 autos late game during the time she's waiting if she's full build as you're insinuating...

its ok we hear you and here in riot we gonna put vayne in a more balanced state

Attack damage reduced from .6854 ti 6853

That would keep her back from one shooting someone with tumble but we gonna keep an eye on her to see if we nerf her too much

yeah but then you are building duskblade on vayne over items that are actually good on her. its good for cheesing someone i suppose if your goal isn't to dps and solely to win.

you can do 2/3 of someone health if not more with a Q crit and duskblade proc

but in reality you are much better just building crit/attack speed items.

IE > double zeal is just too good on vayne. why waste 2700 gold on duskblade for an extra 350 damage when you can get 40% attack speed and more silver bolts, more damge with crit chance, and just higher dps in general.

its a gimmick. people hate it when u get cheesed by a gimmick, but its just a gimmick.

its like cait. you can build duskblade, shiv, IE, and ER on cait and basically 4/5 heath someone if they step on a trap, but why when u are an adc and your primary job is to dps.

Dude, people have already tried this in the past when Duskblade had a similar effect. A little more than half the time it just isn't worth waiting the full one second of stealth to proc it and results in a net DPS drop. Sure, in certain situations, it would be the better play. But most of the time it's a DPS loss. It might even be a viable pick on Vayne for a few procs in a fight, but not in the way you are stating to use it.

The thing is that you will not be able to get 5 procs off on Vayne You can cancel Vayne's stealth early by autoattacking before it ends, which will make the stealth last only about 0.6 seconds instead of 1 second, meaning she has to wait for the stealth to end before she can auto attack

I've been away for a bit, but last I checked maximizing duskblade procs gutted her DPS. Sure, she has an increased chance of "1-shotting" squishies (which she already does); but anyone with a bit of durability will survive longer. Overall a net-loss.

Duskblade needs more than a one second cooldown, even 5-10 seconds would still make it a great item, and more so for junglers and assassins for which it was intended.

A Control Ward in the pocket is always nice to have.
