adc favoritism - keep milking your cow, @Riot

If, tomorrow, I tell you all that, like, Kog'Maw suffers from the Triforce changes, or that his kit isn't up to date compared to other ADCs, nobody panics, because "he's doing fine, look at his current winrate". But when I say that Jhin is a little overpowered due to several attributes to his kit, flexibility of his builds, and safe range harrass with powerful all in potential, well then everyone loses their minds!

“If, tomorrow, I tell the press that, like, a gang banger will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it’s all ‘part of the plan’. But when I say that one little old mayor will die, well then everyone loses their minds!” - The Joker

How are they milking the cow with Jhin?

he's maintained dominance (not necessarily highest winrate amongst ADCs) in the sense of being relevant regardless of the meta or item changes. there needs to be extraneous weaknesses besides changes to his kit/items.

for example with le blanc nerfed, this opens up midlane for other potential midlanes. but with jhin nerfed, people still pick him because he is STILL a better pick than other ADCs and thats where the problem lies

I'm still confused at what exactly they are milking with him? I agree that Jhin needs looking at as I think that he has very little trade offs (ADC's aren't able to really take advantage of their super AS anyway in team fights because they have to reposition so like Jhin's slower AA speed isn't as big of a hinderance anyway), but I'm not entirely sure what you're implying that Riot is doing.

  1. people want to see him in the LCS - he's the newest ADCs and can do alot of flashy plays
  2. as a result people want to play him more in game
  3. then they buy his skins which both cost 1350 which is $10 each

they want to keep this up and this is why they're so hesitant on balancing their money maker. they dont want any changes since they think he's fine in the state hes in currently.

the changes on the pbe barely scrape the surface of what could be done with jhin

Ah, I've never felt like Riot does this otherwise when Tristana got her 1820 skin (Dragon Trainer) she would have been strong. Tristana can make EXTREMELY flashy plays with her resetting W, R, and her E and can be pretty oppressive if strong.

There are a lot of champs that aren't 'kept strong' who have a lot of skins they can milk for money. I guess that I've just never felt that they keep champs strong for the $$$.

people don't play tristana though. people haven't played tristana and she hasn't seen the LCS since spring 2016 and isn't a top pick. jhin is and since he is "fun to play and does a lot of dmg" his skin prices make it reasonable to buy them

That's kind of the point. She wasn't strong. If Riot was milking champions for skin $$$, you can buff them. Tristana when strong has historically overpowered most other picks. She still has that kit, just in a weaker state because she is oppressing when she's strong. Thus, I feel like if they were milking money, you would have seen Tristana buffs when that skin came out (And Bewitching Tristana) because she definitely becomes extremely popular when strong.

Jhin just happens to be powerful with all ADC builds because they messed up a tad with his kit and just haven't had the chance to nerf it down yet.

At least, in my opinion.

why not triple his e cd? he casts them way too fast

they also need to look at his E hitbox on elevated terrain.

i honestly think for the amount of burst he has with his 3+4 AA + Q + E that he needs his AA range reduced to 500. he has the MS to get away when he crits and lands his E so there shouldn't be a problem

who cares triforce doestn effect him. all he needs is runaans rage blade blade of the ruined king and nashors to win

you don't get the point of the OP

....your the op and your talking in third person. and as i stated in order for them to nerf kog they would have to nerf rage blade runaans .
