I don't know if he's been buffed recently, if he falls off later, or what but he sure didn't fall off that game considering there was literally no way to not give him a free kill every 2 minutes unless I felt like abandoning my lane.

Have you tried actually trading with him and not just eating free poke every time he gets in auto range of you?

Kennen stomps bad players because they panic and don't trade with him. His damage is atrociously low and he can't win an actual trade against anything, and he has no sustain available.
