2k gold down and 1 level down ad caster instagibs me when I'm building tanky lol

It was wukong, but I'm not even complaining about wukong as a champion, item balance and game balance in general is just in the shitter.

Youmuus Wukong (only other item is refillable potions) jumps on me (Renek with ult + ninja tabi + phage + kindlegem) and we both kill each other in under 1 second with a double KO.

Like wtf am I supposed to even be building if building health and armor won't stop me from getting bursted? I might as well just build more damage and hope to burst the other guy before he gets a chance to use his skills.

OP had you spent those 2 k gold or were they in your bag?

Because your build totals out at ~3,550 gold, meanwhile wukong at ghostblade+refillable (+jungle item?) totals out either at ~3100 or ~4100.

You have to spend the gold for it to be worth anything.

item 3142 55 ad +18 leathality > item 3044 15 ad

he has a completed item you dont , his passive gives him bonus armor and mr , his Q reduces enemies armor

I forgot I also had that item that builds into titanic, the red thing.

And by outplayed you mean he jumped on me from stealth and we both proceeded 1shot each other. Am I supposed to be able to do something against that? Flash away from creeps the second I see the 0/3 wukong with 20 CS pop up on my screen?

well he did a full combo yes? including ult? summoner? his runes most likely sudden impact which gives him more leathality coming from stealh. and he started the engage which means he striked 1st which typically gives the aggressor the advantage. if you include his Q armor shred passive, the +8 leathality from stealth + 18 leathality from ghost blade that negates armor (20) from ninja tabis, plus he isnt an auto attacker he is a caster , so the passive of ninja tabs (reduction damage from autos ) dont take effect

It's unreasonable for someone building bruiser/tank to be assassinated from full health unless they are so far behind that the only explanation is that they've been AFK for the last 10 minutes.
The slayer/diver should need the tank/bruiser to be at low health either from previous damage trades whittling them down or from allies helping the assassin/diver in the fight. I guess if the assassin is very much ahead, it should be possible to catch a full-health tank/bruiser and kill them over a very prolonged fight where they chase them across a long distance and the tank's defenses buy his team the time to intervene if they are paying attention.

There is no way that item 3142 should be considered sufficient to burst down item 3044 item 3052 item 3047 unless there is somehow a 6 level gap in favor of the assassin/diver.

Why? Those items aren't tanky at all they literally give a little bit of hp and armor vs an item that gives a ton of ad and some lethality.

1250+1200+1100=3550 gold

youumus= 2900

and the "little bit of hp" they give is 400hp without counting the red item passive that gives even more, the 20 armor from tabi negates all the lethality from yoummus so you have there a 55Ad item bursting down a decently tanky target.

If he had yomuus he wasnt 0/3 20 CS. Items determine champ power, not kills nor CS. If youre up 2k but havnt spent, youre still not up 2k.

The only armor you had was ninja tabi of he 1 shot you. You didn't even have that much health. If anything you shouldn't have been able to 1 shot him back since you had 1 semi offensive item vs a full lethality item.

Its somewhat understandable for that wukong to score the kill the way he did that is true given electrolute and lethality and his Q, that much is true.

But you know, that doesnt make wukong any more durable.

If anything OP's extra health made him able to use renektons base damage and whatever keystone he had to effectively blow up the glass cannon wukong before dying himself,,,,,which is also within current reason of the game.

Ah im a bit sorry but that thing gives him 4-8 armor and mr for each visible champ in a rather small radius, so its rather pitifully useless at every single stage of the game, its been something people have been requesting reworks for for a long time now just because its so useless that it doesnt even seem like he has a passive.

Much like Lissandra really, although she did have some benefits from hers.

4 bonus armor would help him survive renekton? Maybe if he had a cloth armor or two ontop.

Oh don't worry, just watched an 0/5 Kayle repeatedly one shot me since she took conqueror. Wanna know what the counterplay to it was?

Nothing, just sit there and watch as an 0/5 Kayle that played like actual garbage easily carried the game because a mastery exists.

Wukong isnt broken as much as his kit is outdated and poorly designed for the current game.

He like Diana plays much like an assassin would and is now only good when assassin items are and he can blow people up before they even know what hit them.

Lethality items+stormrazor+triforce/static shiv and such stuff makes that sort of thing easy for the monkey to accomplish......for anyone kinda really.

I built something like item 3142 item 3147 item 3095 item 3087 item 3036 item 3006 on MF and i was able to literally 2 shot enemy squishies before they even had a chance to know something was there.
