this shit is by far the most degenerate and counter-fun playstyle I have ever fucking seen. this champion does not fucking belong as a support.
if Riot can call ekko tank unhealthy playstyle. then I feel like being spammed fears and silences by fiddle support is an unhealthy playstyle. thats not what hes supposed to do. neither it is his role
I don't think anyone believes such a thing. However, Fiddlesticks is really really low on the priority list for Riot in anything. So doubtful he'll get any changes soon. So just like many other really unhealthy things in LoL, just strap in, bb. It's here to stay for a few more years.
Fiddles has absurd utility. Point and click peel is aids and he gets the ability to both attack from outside of your range AND gapclose (although in all fairness, this one ability in his kit does have counterplay - keep him in sight at all times and he can't surprise you). Play passive and eat steady unavoidable damage. Play aggressive and get peeled and damaged for your efforts. Laning against him is cancer either way.
He has crazy objective control as a jungler too. Like

is up and you don't have vision on him, you'd be a fool to attempt an objective.
Alright, let's say they remove Fear and Silence from Fiddle's kit. What does he get in exchange? A real gap closer? The ability to use Drain while walking? The ability to have E bounce off himself if needed? A Grounded effect on enemies hit by his ult?
You can't just remove such huge strengths from a champion's kit and call it a day, not without giving him some form of compensation to keep him balanced.
