Building Rakan?

"Boring ass support items" probably, with a ludens if I'm feeling spicy or extra fed. (Assuming you're referring to redemption/locket/sightstone in terms of 'boring' items.)

I was looking at top rakans recently and theres a lot of different styles with correspondingly different builds, that all seem to be managing 60%+ win rates in the hands of those players. Theres thunderlords rakans, CotC rakans, and windspeakers rakans other there, who basically all build a different starting item even.

I cranked out mastery 5 on him and my mastery chest with windspeaker rakan since that felt most intuitive to me as a janna main. Pick your opportunitys to dash in and out before theres much chance for retaliation so you don't really need to tank much, and ensure you have appropriate follow up if you really need to commit to something. Also one can use ult as an escape in a pinch, it's not exclusively for engaging or big teamfights.
