Tryndamere Q now cleanses cc

still costs him all his fury (basically all his damage)

teamfighting would be atleast bearable

...huh.

That's actually not the worst idea, since he relies heavily on fury for his damage and it might cause him to use his healing ability at an inopportune time, making there be a legitimate trade-off in his kit for using the cleanse.

There might need to be some other tweaks, but I can get behind this idea, at least in principle.

not without tradeoffs, but it sounds like a good idea tbh

This might be worth considering but only as part of a large scale rework.

I still hate facing him because I can literally never predict his damage output even at level 2 due to crits.

He doesn't need buffs though.

He doesn't necessarily need buffs, but tweaks to his kit to encourage him to do something other than splitpush 24/7 would make him a lot more interactive of a champion. Perhaps pull power from somewhere else to give him this?

I mean I would most likely remove tryndamere's ability to use his ult under hard cc for this, but I'm not certain.

And the heal on his q. If rengar cant have a heal and cc clease, trynda cant.

gangplank has a heal and cc cleanse, so I don't see the big issue really.

it costs 100% of his fury, and thats a big tradeoff.

Rengars heal costed 100% of his fury stacks. Issue with gangplank is. he can't 100 to 0 someone that's running away from him like trynd and reng.

He would have no more counterplay after that.

Honestly I would make it sure that he could only do so at max fury.

so basically, Gangplank's oranges.

Yet some how, I imagine his Q would have to have a CD comparable to that of Oranges. Otherwise, people will just complain about him being CC immune. (Like they don't already complain about that on Olaf.)

What if it only cleanses at 100 fury and prevents fury gen on autos for 2 seconds?

This would lead to some trade-off scenarios for his ult where it would be used for instant access to that cleanse or to recover fury from the cleanse. It would also lead to a small window of weakness for him during laning, which I would say is needed in order to push him in a healthier direction.

I would suggest buffing the Fury gen on R to 100 at all level then, however. Most of the time when its going to be used, he's already going to have over 50 fury anyway. Its not like players would use it immediately when they start fighting due to that outside of cleanse scenarios.

Drawback of this would be that there would be almost no reason to put more than one point in your ult until forced.

The CD, Heal, and Fury barely make a difference between ranks as it is.

Here is the thing with this, its not a bad idea by itself (remove CC at the cost of damage and forcing his heal at a possible bad time), but it is a bad idea on Tryndamere as he is. I can't even begin to tell you what it would cost him for this to be implemented because his kit is just so unhealthy and its impossible to gauge his strength. Honestly the cost might be so large for something like this that he would need to be completely reworked in order to come out healthy. The fact that he can ult while CC'd is part of why he is so toxic for the game, but if he couldn't Ult while CC'd he would be 10x more useless. It is just the nature of his kit, he does not need small tweaks like this he needs a full rework.

Perhaps this is an idea they will implement on his new kit, but who knows for sure.
