The following champs are all in a worse state than urgot: Twitch Gragas Fizz Alistar Elise Zilean Syndra

Also the following champs are below a 45% win rate and need some love: Zac Ryze Akali Urgot

Of this list, only 2 are planned for a rework (ali and ryze). Twitch was recently reworked (not good). Those syndra nerfed killed her (I think she getting buffed slightly). Fizz is still crying because of DFG being gone (riot probably should have reworked the champs before removing that item completely). Elise is being screwed over by the jungle, the meta, and the fact the human half of her kit is a weakness. Zilean needs a total gameplay rework because he's terrible to lane against. Zac is a nerfed tanky jungler so he's going to be screwed for a long time. Akali just got nerfed so a lot of people are happy about it, but I think riot overdid it just a tad... we'll see if she stays bad for awhile.

Syndra doesn't need a rework. They just need to revert the Q nerf that crippled her early game. And maybe instead of reducing the hitbox to match the visual, why not expand the visual to match the hitbox? Is it really that hard?

Seriously though, I'm not only pissed at Riot for fucking over my favorite champion, but also because they gave Ahri a MASSIVE, UNNECESSARY buff at the exact same time for literally no reason.

Riot: Well, we removed DFG from the game, and since Ahri built it sometimes we thought we'd buff her to compensate

Me: Hey, that's thoughtful of you! Now, what about Syndra ? Some players built DFG on her, too!

Riot: . . .

Me:item 3070 item 3070 item 3070

As a disclaimer, I myself quit using DFG on Syndra about a year ago. But the selective buffs/nerfs Riot gives really makes me sad. By the logic they used to buff Ahri, they should have buffed several other champions, too. Annie Leblanc Veigar It's like Riot is picking who they want to see in the LC$. Let's not forget that Kalista was in a good enough spot on her release, but RIot made sure to buff her in time for the LC$ to ensure she'd be picked for LC$bigplays.

And how could we not mention these DFG users? Garen Malphite Where are their buffs, Riot?

Technically Riot shoud have buffed these guys too based on the logic they used to buff Ahri Fizz Katarina Lissandra But I think the community agrees that they're strong enough right now, so I won't complain about them NOT getting buffs.

To conclude, the removal of DFG should have sparked positive strength balance changes (buffs) on several champions, but Riot only chose to buff Ahri. Why her? I've truly no idea. You'd think Riot would want more variety in LC$ champion picks and solo queue play, not less.

This post ended up being way longer than I intended. I've disagreed with many of Riot's choices lately, but now that it affects my favorite champion, I'm more than just irked.

Ahri's already getting nerfed, Veigar is already getting buffed, and LeBlanc didn't and still doesn't need DFG to completely erase enemy champions.

LeBlanc didn't and still doesn't need DFG to completely erase enemy champions.

The point isn't whether or not LeBlanc NEEDED DFG to kill, because Ahri didn't NEED it either. They buffed Ahri because she sometimes built it and they felt that its removal curbed her power. LeBlanc built it sometimes too, and not that I am NOT saying that I think LeBlanc needs a buff, but by the logic Riot used to buff Ahri, they should have also buffed LeBlanc, Syndra, and many others.

Riot could have just said 'hey here's som Ahri buffs', but they didn't. They used the removal of DFG to justify them, and in doing so showed their hypocrisy when it comes to their balance choices.

I think the logical solution is to put DFG back in the game but instead of +120 AP it gives +120 AD. This will help with Syndra's auto attack damage and make up for her messed up kit.

Or possibly Riot could just compensate by awarding anyone who's bought Syndra 975 RP so that they can buy a new, better champ such as Ahri Ahri Ahri Ahri Ahri Ahri .

And also an additional 1350 RP so they can buy a new le epic memer skin for herTeemo

Why are you saying that as if Urgot is bad. Urgot support is absolutely ridiculous. I tried it a few weeks back and junglers stopped coming to our lane. They couldn't get a kill, and I would shred them constantly. A safety conscious Urgot support is horrifying.

I just wish I could afford battlecast...such an ugly champ. Urgot

Dear Riot,

Debonair Urgot, please.

Sincerely, Rook

How are you determining "worse state"? On that list, I think Twitch and Fizz have the tools they need to succeed.

When the pros have given up and only play Fizz as an AD champ...something's wrong.

When the pros ... play Fizz ...

The champs that the pros just don't play aren't too moved by this argument.

Thresh is also horrible to lane against, but Riot keeps him the way he is because he's fun to play as. ZIlean is fun to play as. I love his entire kit, and he is far and away my favorite support.

I remember the time when MF was the top dog in ADC's in late 2012. Her only problem is the sub-par late game ultimate, and the same 5 champs Caitlyn Corki Jinx Kalista Graves that are always picked over her. While she sits at a comfortable 50% win rate, she need some kind of buff to make her popular again.

Sciaphobia232 votes

If you really want a place for MF, I suggest mid or top laning her, maxing E and going AP. Its actually pretty solid I have done it myself a few times.

Those champions all have lower win rates than urgot, which is not the same thing as being worse than him. Twitch is the exact same state as he was when SSW was winning worlds with him, so he's fine. People are just absolute garbage with alistar and have an amazing habit of pushing people away at terrible times. Gragas, while not great, is also fine and brings very unique CC to the game that can easily turn any teamfight. Same with Zac. Ryze is still the late game, tanky 1 shot machine he always was, he just doens't autowin every top lane anymore. And considering how retardedly snowbally and irritating akali and fizz are, I, along with much of the community, probably prefer they be a little underwhelming. They can still snowball and carry games, but theyre not nearly as faceroll at lvl 6 as they used to be.

Alistar is fine. He's just difficult to use for new players, which explains the low win rate. I'm a more than average player, and I managed a 55% win rate last season out of about 100 games.

In fact, a majority of those champions are difficult to use and out of the meta. They're not bad champions, and the ones that have received nerfs have not been overnerfed. They're still strong. After any nerf, the win rate slumps and then bounces back after people learn how to play them.

Don't forget Diana who has a serious identity crisis. She's a bruiser that plays like Akali, but doesn't have the mobility to back it up.

Wasn't she OP as hell on release?

Wasn't she OP as hell on release?

She was considered "OP" on release because people ended up playing her as an assassin when Riot designed her as a bruiser. Basically how she would work is Build 2 autos -> Q -> R -> Auto -> W -> Zhonya -> Q -> R -> R and delete multiple champions with effectively zero counterplay.

Then Riot nerfed her ult, her only ability that did respectable damage, to the point where you have to use both charges to land a kill. She's played in the jungle now apparently, but she is extremely reliant on blue buff to have reasonable clear times.
