What counters Poppy?

Darius is good, Poppy can't really stay out of range without losing farm, and she can't win and extended trade against him.

love how people downvote a serious question that someone is trying to increase their knowledge of the game. MOST TOXIC COMMUNITY, also i agree with korillo but would add (figured he didnt because was already said) and honestly it comes down to skill mostly. and you can always start the game off with telling your jg that you dont fair well against poppy so if they could gank a little extra that would be awesome.

I'm not sure if it's because I don't have many games of Poppy played yet but Nautilus gave me a hard run for my money, especially early on. After a few backs however he started lacking that damage needed to do anything.

Anyone with good sustain and durability in my experience kick Poppy's ass. So juggernauts like Darius and a mage like Vladimir (I could be wrong on Vlad) can basically shut her down or keep her from snowballing.

the worst counter is trundle. a silver trundle can beat a diamond 1/master poppy in lane. there is literally nothing poppy can do against him. she can't really outplay him. outtank or outsustain or outduel.

Champs like have a pretty bad early game against her actually. Go for the matchup ONLY if you're experienced in it. Keep in mind, though, that you may do well in lane but still get destroyed in teamfights.

is very strong vs her early but, as the game goes on she becomes more and more durable and eventually outscales him. I'd rate this as an easy matchup early that needs special treatment as the game goes on. Her passive's shield is REALLY tricky.

is actually pretty good against her due to his excellent trading kit and true damage ult(poppy's hp scalings are relatively low). But, you still need to be carefull, as poppy packs wallop with %hp Q and can outrade you if she stuns you against a wall and then continues her engage(effectively staying out of your Q by staying on top of you). Special care needs to be taken in teamfights as well. She can keep you slowed and cc'ed, not allowing you to Q heal off her teammates and denying you the engage.

suffers in this matchup early on but, he eventually outscales and can split-push hard vs her due to her bad wave clear. She still performs better in teamfights though.

Othe rmatchups i haven't played and could work:

Trundle counters Poppy for sure, but it's a lot harder for a Trundle to carry a game than a Poppy, especially since Riot HAD to remove Rabid Bite working on structures. He's pretty much there to stop her "walking into your team (technically) alone, killing someone, then walking out with 45 hp," shenanigans. Subjugate pretty shuts that nonsense down.
