I hate the vision changes.
I usually got the 2 stealth ward yellow trinket as an ADC. And whatever else other than support.
I don't like that I can't set up a ward line in the jungle on my own anymore unless I want to have zero ward presence for a corresponding amount of time after they run out.
Used to be able to start holding a quad of the jungle with 2-3 wards at level 9ish, now yellow is only going to give me one ward at a time unless I leave it dark for a while. Between this and the removal of green wards, there's not much point in the 3 ward per player limit if you aren't a support or possibly a jungle.
The farsight trinket gives more, but it feels like a win-more thing. If you're winning, you can stack 10 wards in your jungle bushes so the enemy has an uphill invade path if they get an upset win. But it doesn't work for real teamfight or objective contesting, since it's more of a tripwire than something to give you an angle on them with vision.
The debris is a little obnoxious too, but not near as bad as just being hamstrung on vision.
I don't like the "team" part of the vision thing, since in reality it just means I have way less impact doing it. It'd've already been better if others were part of it to begin with, me doing less doesn't help that. I'm unlikely to become the buddy of every random solo queue, and chat them up about warding patterns every match and how multiple wards interact to be stronger than a single one. I'm introverted, and already don't discuss anything to begin with in 99% of my games.
Considering most of my warding was with the trinket, I didn't really feel the "gold advantage" and snowballing part of this change they were talking about in the patch notes.
If team vision has been part of the seasonal change for two years now, why do we still not have "Ward Here Please" and "Enemy Ward is Here" pings in the smart ping system yet?
