I miss bruiser/tank Shyvana. Now I know she has no real cc, but her AP build is simply the only one that gets anything done anymore. I got flamed for building on her the other day with a tank ish build;

Honestly I could see why. I remember when Shyvana could dive in and be an unkillable threat that if left unchecked would get a double before MAYBE going down if you didn't HARD cc her. These days? R into team, spam E, move back, spam E, rinse and repeat. She's an AP assassin in every sense of the word now, which I love, but Riot should honestly just rework her into that in full at this point.

its situational both ways if you think about it on one hand you facing fighters which needs bloodrazor/hydra/sunfire and on the other your facing squishies mainly you can go AP dragon blasting on their butts since thats gonna hurt them alot.

One thing I've been doing after item 1402 > item 3020 is building item 3001 or item 3742 / item 3143 to great effect. Gives you the best of both worlds come mid game and you can commit to damage or more tanky as the game pans out.

most gold efficent malphite build as jungle its somewhat similar with transcendence/aftershock item 1402 item 3068 , item 3143 or item 3075 . item 3025 then put in item 3110 put in a situational item vs mage damage here or amplify your own damage buy using item 3001 to do kinda both or go the bruiser/assassin route and get item 3027 or item 3152 finally your boots of choice inserted here either item 3111 (heavy cc/iron potion) , item 3117 for starting/chasing since Q is basically a free mobis if you touch them with it, item 3047 imo my least favorite item on malphite since its not interesting to me but nevertheless its deadly efficient vs a AA oriented comp finally item 3020 boots for that extra burst vs squishies. again i know this is 7 items i posted its situational of how to change your build depending on enemy ability.

Into assassins and fighters on hit/AD Shyvana is more effective than AP. There are just less situations than before now that her AP build is understood.

You should try top Shyvana with SoS into tank. I think you will get the fix you are looking for.

Core 2nd Offense Situational Hybrid

Ooooo, one Top build I did for awhile was item 3153 > item 3151 with Press the Attack and Cutdown. I melted Renektons and Urgots alike.

I saw the video, the enemy team was 4 levels down compared to shyvana, so it's not a fair assessment

You don't get 22/0/18 KDA + Penta because you started the game 4 levels ahead. You earn it by using the strengths of your champion which was done with AD Shyvana.

I smashed them with AD Shyvana that was the point, It's not oh I went AP for a 5 level lead then sold all my AP for AD.

So yes it's perfectly fair, AD Shvyana can solo win games, because my bot we dying as well.
