What to build on Gnar?

I've been using Sterak's a lot on Gnar with triforce, triforce into steraks. Often my auto attacks deal equal damage to boulder toss and super synergy because you gain a ton of base ad from mega gnar. I don't really notice the shield that often though and it feels difficult to proc. Also because of the new changes to steraks and bonus health, (mega gnar increases his base health) the shield is so miniscule. I love the strength of the passive sheen effect and base AD increase from steraks but I feel steraks could be swapped for something else.

Anyways what do I do???

Edit: Because I hope this doesn't become a BC/FM into tank post xD

I like tri force because he casts spells very often and synergize with sheen a lot from high base ad from mega Gnar. He also has a lot of magical damage with his W so I can feel like black cleaver is not that great. Mega Gnar is all physical I think but he can't stack black cleaver as fast for a team fight engage. Triforce also gives attack speed so you get more W procs off and it mixes up your damage even moreso than black cleaver would. I guess that is just preference though, cause you don't think triforce feels good. Black Cleaver also got nerfed recently so there is that.

I don't like frozen mallet on most range champions cause it makes me feel like a bitch that can't kite. Also I get annoyed when going against it :P. Going away from my feelings, mini Gnar Q at max rank slows for 2s on a short CD for 35%, frozen mallet is every auto for 1.5s 30% slow meaning if you are landing a bunch of Qs you are wasting frozen mallet. On Mega Gnar the slow from mallet is better, 40% but you have more hard CC with wallop and R. The thing I like about frozen mallet is the large health and bonus ad.

I am thinking with my playstyle I need to replace steraks because I don't get enough bonus health early on to buy it. Maybe I shouldn't buy steraks as second item. I don't think I will change my triforce build but what should I buy after tri force?

I normally see mallet/cleaver into tank.

Triforce for some reason doesn't feel that great. Gnar plays around kiting around the outskirts of a fight using mobility from Mallet + Black Cleaver before becoming a CC Tank. Since Mallet and cleaver both give good health and damage, after this you're going to want to get resistances.
