Can someone explain gold rates to me in game?

I was Yasuo and so was my laner. He Had like 5 farm ahead of me and 1 assist more, but was able to buy Pd and I wasn't even close to it. Somehow that assist gave him enough gold to breach the 1000 gp difference to buy pd leaving me destroyed since i wasn't even close to it.

no this was a few minutes in no towers were down and it wasn't first blood.

You lost 2 towers or you were outfarmed.

No towers were down and he had like 5-8 farm more not accounting for the 1000 gap he had with one assist.

Towers, objectives and shutdowns (killing someone when they're on a kill streak) give the entire team extra gold. Were they ahead of you in that regard?

He had no towers, nor objectives since he was in lane as long as I was. He had no kilsl as he was 0/1/2 and i was 0/1/1. My team was on no killing streak as they had fed super hard.

He was like no more than 400 gold ahead of you - or your remembrance about the game state is wrong.

Shut-downs and towers provide global gold. I think Dragon and Rift Herald may provide some too, but I'm not sure.

The minions he killed may have been more valuable. If you had missed cannon minions but he didn't (and/or if he killed a large jungle monster), that can be a rather large difference.

They may have opted to take Bandit, so he would get additional gold every time he traded with you.

Post a link to the match history if you want a better analysis.

Well, its possible he had Gold Generation Quintessences and Seals, but if that's the case you should have bulldozed him in lane from levels 1-5 from him missing all those stats. Then again that's only about an extra 300 gold at 10 minutes.

CS is just a general counter. For example, Cannon and Melee minions are worth more gold. You might have missed some of them, but have gotten more caster minions.

Link to your game if you want a better explanation. Your last three games all have another Yasuo in them.

Great diversity. "An Army of Over 100 Champions. Find Your Role" reads the Sign Up page. Very funny Riot.

Riot releases new champions with just one new ability and the rest of their kit is usually copied from the older champions.... Yasuo's kit is more interesting than most of the roster. Plus he is easy to play once you learn how to use the ult.

I've had some laning phases where I'm level 5, was around more minions dying than the other laner (I usually force them away from minions, sometimes even after their TP back), and they still hit 6 before me and all-in.

I really don't understand when this happens. Even EXP runes don't give that large of a difference.

Only happened to me twice in recent memory, but still. And its not me being out of exp range; I was the one pressuring.

This happens to be so much. I have more minions, kills, and have been in lane longer, but they get level 6 faster,

Happens to me so often and always shocks me
