She is one of the most annoying champions even when she is weak sorta like . It isn't fun playing against a champ that has a play pattern of just sitting in the far back of the fight waiting for some cc to hit and then ulting. When she comes into the meta it's usually a horribly toxic combination of burst and safety.

It's her design. Unless she's stat-sticking, she's just made of linear patterns. Literally, all of her shit comes out in a straight line. Against a little forethought, Lux isn't exactly the most intimidating. People just fall for her a lot in earlier play levels because of the nature of her kit and her strengths.

Unless her design changes, I don't think she'll ever ascend.
