she actually has a really hard time with early clear now because the buff mobs 1 shot her spiders. it removes a lot of damage in addition to basically having none of the tankiness from before. so yeah, jungle changes hit elise hard.

it dramatically hurts her early game clear which was almost entirely reliant on the damage from her W while in spider form. slower clear means she takes more damage. and yeah, you buy more pots and you survive but she actually clears slower than most 'jungle' champs these days.

She seemed just fine to me. When you approach a camp just start wit ha few human form spells to reset your spiderlings and go to town ... she clears fine from what i can tell.

I disagree. I think she has gotten much stronger in the new jungle, and I wouldn't be surprised to see her in competitive play.

I find that I am able to clear 3 camps and gank immediately on Elise. It's not a common feature of junglers in the new jungle. Overall, I find her clear times to be adequate and her sustain to be above average. Just have to get good at using the spiders.

she was meta for most of last season. champion balance is fairly volatile, im sure she'll be useful again not too long from now.

shes useful. just because she isnt overpowered doesnt mean she cant be played. stop crying about her being balanced for once. last season she was cancerous. i still think she is. building full armor with liandries and being able to 2 shot my adc is just really fun. but she does have counterplay now. shes balanced, shes not useless, balanced. learn the difference or go play fiddlesticks and shit on everyone.

hes strong as fuck. and yes hes balanced. play him 5 games then go play vs him. try to see how "inventive and broken his kit is now"

there are much better choices who have equal or better early games if you want a champion that scales well. elise's niche was early tower dives... she doesn't really scale all that well and she's just a cocoon bot with an execute late game.

BM Skin is EPIC and Elise is still pretty great. I used her the other day and she does pretty well... obviously not as strong as she used to be but she still does alright.

Elise is in need of some buffs, but she's far from useless. A lot of people don't know how to play her or build her for that matter, but she's in a much better spot than she was last season (post-nerfs) since sustain junglers have become relatively dominant.
