why would a champion that is pretty much a mix of Support and ADC have the third highest health growth as well as third highest health at 18, only surpassed by Alistar and Galio (and Kled+Skaarl if you want to count it), when she is almost 24/7 a ranged champion and can heal herself? She has a higher health at 18 than champs like Zac, Trundle, Maokai, Malphite, Nautilus and Tahm Kench.
She is one of the hardest scaling champions in the game.

Kayle has been the way she's been for seasons with only people who main her actually playing her. What is this sudden hate for Kayle??
It's because they have never put any effort into balancing or updating her. As long as she remained obscure they just ignored her.
Originally in beta she was more of a bruiser. Her invuln shield was a normal ability and self only. Her ranged mode was her ult and had a long duration/long cooldown. So she was pretty much a bruiser. I think her heal could target allies though.
I don't know why they decided to make her into a weird hybrid of support/ADC/bruiser but they did that pretty early on and just left her like that this whole time. They never even bothered with her base stats so she still has her old bruiser stats.
Apparently, they just don't give a fuck about her. Her kit has always been an incoherent mess. There has never been a time when it was up to the standards of the game even before when the standards were a lot lower. She has needed a complete remake since the day this game was released.
She is a hyler carry who doesn't build HP. Only ad, ap and attack speed. Cut her HP growth and she dies to a full build talon/zed with stormrazor aa before she can even get to cast her ultimate. She needs to have good hp scaling to reward people for surviving that long durjng her hyper scaling. Same goes for pyke who get's no hl from items, even hp ones, but that's a different story.
