Has this ADC/Ardent meta made worlds fun to watch ?

I haven't seen worlds because i already predicted how it was going to be because of this meta. The meta destroys strategy and forces a scripted plan every match for highest chances of victory. This isn't a strategy game anymore. So i'm assuming worlds is boring to watch right now and genetic? If so you need to let riot know you're killing your game and e-sport.

Watch gigabyte Marines vs. fenetic day 5, they've done ardent, but they are doing a bunch of other stuff too. So far it's the only match where it ended with me going damn, that was a blast to watch.

Well, the gigabyte mariens games are pretty fun, but overall it's mostly either jungle+midlane totally snowballing out of controll or adc(especially twitch) takeing over the game.

I play all roles randomly actually. your assumption has no power in me if that was your main argument ¯_(ツ)_/¯ shit i play too many champions randomly too. It does get stagnant to play vs the same strategy and even more so to be constricted to use that same strategy to have a higher chance o win.

I never made an assumption, I am saying that its the supports turn to be OP, just like every other lane has been. Complaining about this certain one doesn't change that fact.

Support always been a huge part of it though it just rotates on champions. Remember the huge impact on games flash annie had? the braum meta ? tresh / blitz. Sona? nami ? zyra? support lane has consistent change and impact in the game. You can't pretend to say it has been useless. The role has always been relevant and changed the pattern of play often. It's just not usually the carry role so it doesn't get as much credit or attention. Even now when it's clearly the problem the main focus is the ADC's, while ADC's are just the biggest benefits of the item 3504 meta but they're not the ones to directly cause it.

But it does change the fact that: Can't remember any assassin meta in pro play at all. Tanks are always valued in pro play obviously. Can't remember a time where something was so overpowered and broken that i warped the entire meta around them leaving everyone completely useless except the op ones.

Assassins aren't used in pro play because assassins rely on the enemy not being coordinated enough. They need to get fed early and snowball, and that's not something that happens easily in pro play.

I haven't even played Xayah, I main Viktor. Also, Xayah also has to time her untargetability to dodge Zed's ult, I have no idea what you're on about.

has to time as in zed ults you ult and outlast zeds ult gain no mark and he has to take his r before he dies in the middle of your team.

a lot of champions are being desgined with a untargetable ability. It's just riot rotating things, at first it was dashing and jumps every new champion had a gapcloser. Then it was hard CC every new champion had some form of hard CC with gap closer, then the 3 hit procs, then the trend was true damage, every champion was getting true damage. Now it's untargetable situations. Started with Xayah then the new champion with the scythe, now evelynn is getting it too. It's just how it is, get used to seeing that often now until they move on to another new trend.

Riot doesn't balance for pro play except for when they begin to get near worlds.

Boards whine that worlds meta isn't all that great.

Before that, Boards whine that Riot only balances for worlds.

A worlds meta tends to emerge within a week or so every year, so knowing what to expect composition wise is pretty standard.

Theres usually craziness in how they play things exactly, plus who knows what kind of ardent counter pick might show up later on in worlds (maybe nunu sup will become a thing because of his AS slow or something).

It definitely widened the ADC champion pool compared to worlds in the past.

I know it's mostly Trist/Xayah, Jinx was picked once and lost, and that Kalista was just pretty much banned all the time, but at least we're not seeing the same damn ADCs every game.

Other lanes? Not so much. Support was mostly Lulu/Janna/Rakan but people went their ways to get Taric and Karma, or just anything that can abuse Ardent Censer.
