reminder that they did absolutely nothing except for blocking one champ you don't like seeing and didn't change any problems aram had at all.
in the end it just removed some of the most enjoyable champs on the map. Sure most people here on the boards complain about champs like lux, but even without aram they do that shit.
Bans are simply a bandaid to the real problem. They don't fix crap. There are two fixes that would solve either problem. Just unlock all champs in ARAM or make some balances for ARAM only, which Rito did dabble at. Obviously they were successful with the first go around, because no champ has 70% win rates in ARAM anymore. Currently there is only one that is even above 60%. There used to be three all near 70% (Sona, Ziggs, Sion).
I think they should just keep small tweaking until more champs are under control and then there is no point to ARAM accounts, unless it is only based on personal preferences of who you want to play.
I think I have only 3 champs left to get, so no, I am not in support of ARAM accounts, but there are better fixes than killing ARAM with bans. Keep ARAM random (the rerolls are already bad enough)!
I mean, I didn’t really like bans all that much. They seemed a little unnecessary and delayed getting into the shortest gamemode by about a minute. I personally think most champions are well balanced for ARAM and don’t really struggle against the Veigars and Sonas many others complain about.
To be clear, I’m glad you want bans, but you don’t speak for everyone in the LOL community on this issue.

If you're playing ARAM with any level of victory vs defeat making a difference to you you shouldn't be playing ARAM, bans or not. It's a fun mode where you can try things you wouldn't want to test in norms, winning isn't part of the ARAM equation.

Why were they taken away in the first place. That was a perfect counter against ARAM only accounts.
Now we are back to seeing Veigar in every match. So, Riot should either bring back bans, or unlock everything for that mode

I love how this thread has a ton of upvotes, but everyone in the comments is saying no LOL
If they add bans to it they also have to increase the minimum amount of champions to play it. I actually support the notion because the alternative is to make all champions available to play on ARAM.
If they make all champions available on ARAM people won't feel like they must make an ARAM account to play it efficiently. People will also learn all champions other than just a select few, those being only the ones good in ARAM.
