Why the hell does promo helper not help ALL divisions and tiers?
Last I checked, winning in the wrong order isn't something that falls off when I'm done being a Bronzie/Silverado.

You get it through gold too , it just won't help you get in to platinum and thereafter.
It seems fair to me. Firstly, their statistics IIRC show that promo win rates are much lower in silver and bronze than higher elo.
Also, this probably makes it too easy to climb... so playing more will help more than playing better. Having it cap out at a high Tier is a good way to make sure the upper elo games are only containing really good players.

They should just get rid of promos through divisions and have them through tiers. It can force one to burn A LOT of time in a spot they don't necessarily have to be in simply because of "winning in the wrong order". Besides, won't this make getting Gold a little bit TOO easy? Well, probs not since for every 5 winners, there's 5 losers, but still...
I agree with getting rid of them for divisions and just have for tiers, but it looks like Riot is against that.
The other issue is promos when you're playing above your league... Just qualified for my promo series to gold 5 today. Game 1, my team has 4 silver 1s (including myself) and a gold 5. Enemy team has 1 silver 1, 2 gold 5s, a gold 2 and a gold 1. I have no idea how that happened... needless to say I lost game 1. Won the next 2, so had I won that one I'd be gold now. Hard to believe that a game that could still potentially prevent me getting gold was because I couldn't beat a gold 1 and gold 2 with a bunch of silver 1 teammates... (the two wins after that were also G3-G5 opponents mostly, with mostly G4-G5 allies and a couple S1s on either side).
