What I'm hoping from Aurelion Sol

I'm hoping for a dragon. Not just any dragon cough Shyvana... *cough, but a REAL dragon

A giant, scaly, mean, bada** mother ducking DRAGON.

Alot of people are wondering what he's going to be. Some think he'll be a mage, some think he'll be an AP bruiser because it fits more towards the theme of a dragon, and of course the biggest thing is everyone and their grandmothers are hoping he isn't a support.

If we're finally going to have a dragon champion then we preferably want a dragon champion that feels like a dragon, Not a burst mage or anything that sits in the back and has nothing related to being a dragon than his character theme.

(Just my thoughts on being a dragon) If I'm playing as a dragon I want to be in the front, making a BIG presence in the fights and the game in general. I want to be the end game boss that you have to fight to bring down, burning those who oppose me to a crisp and showing the enemy who dictates the game.

Of course all of these things can be tweaked in their own little ways due to his different theme but these core dragon concepts should still stay intact imo.

I want to hear more opinions on this and let me know what you think a dragon should mean.

I heard the guy creating Aurelion Sol is the same guy who created Bard. So I doubt that same guy will create yet another support.

You would never think a dragon would be a support role because they are just simply too badass.

However, it would be wise to have created a support dragon at the same time because 1: Would get everyone and their mom to play support cause everyone loves dragons. This champion is going to be continiously played champion for years to come because of it being a dragon, especially if it's freaking huge and looks awesome.

I can only see it being support because of the dragon trainer skins like Tristana, and Lulu or whatever, a trained dragon means companion, in this case, a support.

I hope it isn't a support, and there is no reason to believe it will be. Mount Targin page shows 2 open slots. One for ADC for sure, the other I'm going to say mid lane cause Diana is now a jungler, Panth is top, leona is support, and I'm amost 100% sure this dragon is the newest addition to the mount targon champion lineup. So yeah, it will be a AP champion at the very least, probably a champion that can go mid, and top, even jungle.

Guys guys please, dragons are way more versatile then this, they can be made to fit any role or any theme you like. Literature, movies and games are littered with the fuckers, they come in all shapes and sizes, different cultures have different myths and legends and story's about them.

For Support: Look at Mushu from Disney's Mulan, or just anime in general with their weird cute critters. Even D&D has Silver dragons if you want them big.

A dragon can easily fill a support tank role, you just gotta find a way to give him enough themed CC, like frost breath for example. That way you have a big badass dragon that can jump into the thick of things and control the battle field while still being a support and a badass. Or you stay behind your "champion minions" while you protect your ADC while they do all the work for you.

I would love to have a big badass female dragon to play as a support, it sounds awesome. Something that has the strength to push champions around, freeze or root them in place or make them flee in fear, and an global ult that dominates the battlefield all while being an unkillable badass.

I agree with that, I was hoping that we would have a beefy tanky from him, I feel like a dragon should be in the fight for a long time, although a typical dragon is both tanky AND huge damage that would be pretty OP, hoping for big tank.

I don't really have much input on this, but you do know you can swear right? It's not against the rules to say badass or fucking, particularly in this context.
