AP Shaco is near and dear to my heart. Back from the days of DFG and ignite without losing stealth.

And days you could separate a good AP shaco from one who nested in the jungle.

Sadly AP Shaco just doesn't work in this tanky dps and ADC meta.

But god he is fun. At least AP Shaco's team fight potential is still there.
Tricks like Deceive in and cloning (remain) stealth while they pile on the clone which explodes doing great AoE dmg to the enemy team.

AP damage in general is just unreliable as mages have fallen off in their use in league.

I'd say it's pretty much the same as an AD jungle path, though it heavily depends on what you want to accomplish. Do you want to cheese the enemy jungler? Do you want to gank at level 2/3? Do you want to do a full clear? The usual route is 2 boxes at krugs/gromp, and 2 boxes near your buff camp (just out of aggro range). These first two camps will be faster than AD Shaco's clear, assuming you have some AP at the start, so you might be able to pull of a cheeky invade. Otherwise, I'd go with the typical AP jungler route after your first 2 camps: wolves > blue > crab/back. (Note: don't start blue, even though you're AP, because you need the sustain from red buff to make it through clearing).

AP Shaco doesn't gank as well early on unless the enemy laner is dumb and walks into your box. Because your Q won't be dealing any damage, you have to rely more on your ally laner to follow up. If you're planning on doing a lot of invading, I'd even suggest maxing your box first. Place them liberally around the enemy jungle to provide vision, and if someone ever walks into one, their clear will be significantly impeded (especially early game; you'd be surprised at how many people stupidly try to kill the box instead of just walking away).

I wouldn't recommend AP Shaco jungle; it's a bit too gimmicky. Though AP Shaco top/mid and even support are relatively fun and decently viable.
