PLEASE stop wasting bans on Zed

Like for real Zed isn't a good champion right now. It makes me tilt when "Platinum+" players are still banning zed instead of champions like Sona, Hecarim, Ashe, Malzahar, Darius, Gangplank, etc.

There are players who prefer to risk losing after game that feels at least somewhat enjoyable, than win after getting constantly shitted on for 30 minutes.

i always ban him and its not that he 2 strong, i just hate playing against him. Escapes any all in, is hard as hell to gank and can turn on you in an instant plus if he ultis you your dead. i think ill keep banning him cause i just dont want him in my games at all rather he is weak or strong.

i much rather ban Zed than ban Darius.... or Ashe for that matter. If you are going to waste a ban might as well waste it on something that is actually useful

because still a lot of midlaners are countered by zed, thus they ban him.

just like i ban azir because i play melee midlaners (even though azir is banworthy regardless where you play)

He isn't fun to play against and when I see him not banned he gets fed.

I don't enjoy being a mana hungry mage but spending every last gold piece on Zhonya's to be able to survive while I run out of mana in 4 nukes trying to clear minions that are being shoved to my tower.

Wrong, he's where he should be. Skilled players can make him work so you can't just pick him up and !#$# on everything on Rift without really spending time to learn him like Yasuo.

Yasuo in every ELO takes skill to learn and even when you do well on him it can be difficult to carry a game. People who whine "op op" don't know how to fight him, and he's actually in an okay spot in my opinion. Learn how to counter him before you bash a champion. I'm like 100 points from rank 5 on him and I still have like a 40% win rate on him.

Honestly, zed can go head to head with any of the champions you listed and contribute more towards the team. He is extremely underrated because he has been permabanned for so long that people are forgetting just what he can do. His numbers are simply a bit too high for all of the tools in his kit and should not be consistently making it past ban phase.

His numbers are disgustingly bad because his ult is so strong... with his basic abilities he cant even duel immobile ADCs. Also he doesn't contribute... anything to the team that other champs can't do. I don't mind playing with Zed but banning him is just a waste.

I actually agree with you. Zed is a powerful champ if fed, but it's hard fro him because of his relatively weak laning phase. I almost always win lane against him because he has low base damage, is pretty squishy, and easy to harass because he's melee. But if he does get fed, he can get scary. I can't deny that. But I agree that there are much more better ban picks, like you said.

Ban zed instead of fizz? Most of my champion pool destroys zed but fizz is just broke no matter what.

Zed is a strong champion, though perhaps not as strong as some of the champs you listed. The thing about him is he snowballs extremely well, and most Zed mains plat+ are very aware of this.
