The increasing amount of complaints

I have not been on forums for very long, but it seems that more and more complaints are popping up. Has it always been like this, or has it just been happening recently? I have my own complaints, such as the game becoming much less fun than a few years ago, due to how one-sided the games are and how imbalanced (This is my opinion, based on what I've been seeing in my games) items and champions are. The new runes are also a bummer, and so is the new client. The devs also seem more random now, tweaking random aspects of the games and being less considerate to normal players in favour of pros. Has anyone else been feeling this way, or that the playerbase is getting more and more dissatisfied?

Yeah, Riot balancing the game for LCS seems to be a common observation lately. Burst metas, wombos, etc. are certainly more exciting to watch, but for your average player I'd wager something closer to seasons 4-5 with a little more give-and-take is more fun to play.

The game isn't exciting to watch though. Every game being '5 out of 10 picks are tanks' and 'everyone play a teamfight deathball comp' isn't very exciting.

Well that's the thing though, the LCS was also more enjoyable to watch in season 4-5 as well. Now its very boring.

from my views i will rate complaint amount from 1 - 10 based on current and previous events (i might miss some) ardent censer - 20 adcs are op - 100 supports are strong - 9 assassins are strong - 4.5 dont nerf my champion - 12 this champion is op - 30 dont balance around lcs - 6 dont buff this champ - 8 dont rework this champion - whenever possible i saw this on the pbe, rito stop right now - 9001 compensation buffs - ERROR NUMBER NOT FOUND

these results are based on absolutely nothing but are still probably 99% true, i also base that off of nothing, fight me community, and just to get some downvotes, ill say the word adc, and nothing more

Assassins are strong - 519573075005730957

With the recent duskblade compensation nerfs, everyone (including me) has been in an outrage at how obscenely strong champions like Kha'zix and Shaco are (and a lot of people are complaining about Zed being buffed 3 patches in a row too)

oh, i forgot about compensation buffs, instead of moving assasins are strong to fit what you just said, ima just edit it in the op to say 4.5 and ill add in one more category now, just for you

more of the boards are complaints anymore. a lot of the older playerbase is getting frustrated with the games since they are either: shorter because the stomp is so intense or the same length but only because the stomping side won't just win already... Riot also tends to balance for the top tiers since they bring in the bucks and the lower peeps kinda roll about in the muck. Matchmaking systems are a chore to deal with and riot's 'fast paced games are better' sort of ideology is wearing thin on people who want a more strategic moba.

From an old timer league player. The level of complaints is about average.

You're not wrong in games feeling one-sided. Everyone seems to be making those comments.

However, the boards is the mainstay of complaints. So that's really nothing new. There will always be something so minuscule the community will whine about. Even if they haven't even faced such a problem.
