Had a really bad start as Ahri vs LB, got firstblooded by Lee who ganked from our raptors, and lost a lot of lane pressure, and then LB roamed bot and killed our ADC while Warwick came into my lane and started farming while I was there.

LB roamed a few more times, top lane was a shit show, ADC and JG were flaming everyone. Yuumi told me to take a deep breath and that I would be fine in lane, as a gold playing in bronze elo. She then told ADC and JG to shut up, and continued to provide emotional support all throughout the game.

We ended up untilting and following Yuumi's instructions to group, and won the game.

This guy's skill extended beyond macros and micros, he/she was a real support both in-game and in real life.

As passive aggressive as what he said was, there is something to be said about how detrimental it is for people to blindly talk positive. Not much in this game pisses me off more than someone saying, "Don't worry, we got late game" when we are not a late game comp or the enemy team has a better late game comp.

Your Yuumi sounds like someone that wasn't just blindly saying it since they gave details about what to do, but people need to understand that you have to actually think about what you're saying if you want to be positive. Rattling off canned lines just makes people angrier and makes them less likely to accept good positivity in other games.

I don't think telling the adc and jungle to stfu is known as ass kissing. I think it's more "play the fucking game" personally.

Uuh, if Yuumi is on the enemy team you will surely get tilted though having to deal with fighting her, or should i say dealing with her, considering you will never touch her in a decent ranked game unless you manage to kill her whole team first. Riot balance team at it again breaking their game.
