Is Arcane Comet Sion still viable?

Or am I better off going grasp? Is E max still good at times? I mostly play supp sion, but I go top at times. Is the standard build good in both lanes?

I find Comet decent to tell ranged matchups to buzz off. Grasp is almost certainly the better melee matchups especially against slower bulkier/regen based matchups.

Rule with Sion has always been max the ability you can land the most.

As TehNACHO pointed out, Arcane Comet is actually really good vs Ranged Matchups. Against someone like say Teemo or Jayce, you're most likely not going to get a Grasp Proc off. In these matchups, you Max your [E: Roar of the Slayer] & pelt them with Minions.

In Melee Matchups, Sion can go Grasp of the Undying (currently his best rune for Tank Sion) or Glacial Augment (used for Full AD Sion or even Support Sion).
