Death Recap needs a complete Rework

Aside from the bugs, Death Recap is still horrible. It shows 3 abilities from 3 damage sources. That's far from complete in almost every situation.

What it should be like:

  • Give information about how you died (how many auto attacks and abilities)
  • Give information on what source of damage you received (physical, magic, true)
  • Be intuitive and give a clear overview with possibility to go more in depth.

This is a great example (not made by me, look how old it is and still better than the current one) I would use 1 big bar like in champion.gg, though and remove the mixed damage part as it's not a seperate type of damage. When you hover your cursor over a champion, more details about damage per ability and status effects should be shown, also number of abilities and/or auto attack landed. For example Nasus Siphoning Strike (x2): 1600 (red font).

But this is reasonable and sensible. Riot has no reason to listen.

If they don't want to change it, I think they better just remove it. It's a disgrace to this game (just like the tutorial). When I tell someone that League is one of the best games ever and they see death recap they're like "are you sure?". They're said how they cannot afford to have bugs or inconsistencies (when talking about replays and sandbox mode) however, they can afford to keep their really outdated features which were actually horrible since the very beginning even by the standards back then.

*Remembers "dying to Recall"

I just don't like when it says 2k damage in 1.2 seconds, but only showing 1.4k in the death recap - and your stuck wondering where the other 600 came from.
