Many champions can do it - all the stealth based assasins, Riven, all the ADCs with crits, all burst mages after stacking AP.

AD Rengar doesn't work vs teams who group, teamfight and take objectives, use oracles and pink wards.

Champions like Eve/Talon are fine with stealth.

Eve doesn't straight blow you up and if Talon pops his ult before jumping on you he's doing it wrong.

Rengar is a completely different thing, he just stealths, nonchalantly walks to your back line, leaps onto your ADC from miles away, and proceeds to instantly blow them up. And unlike Talon, he doesn't lose a good a chunk of damage by popping his stealth first.

All he has to do is kill the carry and he's done his job. Even if "he dies stunned after that"

And Talon you can see coming, you can prepare for Talon. The only thing you can prepare with Rengar is your anus.

If an assassin has 4 levels over the squishy that has no armor built, and that squishy is at half health... any assassin can delete them instantaneously.

It's what assassins do.

I'd like to see a video where a Rengar has the same level, the target is full health, and both have relatively the same gold income. The more controlled variables we have, the more we can get out of the results.

Rengar was level 17 and vayne was level 13 with less then half Hp. I dont care who it is. You're going to die to a level 17 instantly

That's a Hydra exploit, not part of Rengar's actual kit. Hydra is what needs fixing if you want this to not happen. It less him Queue his Q (The Attack damage nuke boost which can crit) several times so they basically apply at the same time. Add the roar and that's around 2.4K damage burst in lategame full build. Because the Hydra.

I'm going to admit that it's excessive, due to the hydra exploit, but generally an assassin is going to delete a squishy that doesn't build to survive.

What do you want to happen if an assassin blows their entire kit on a defenseless adc that has no armor built and has no tanks or utility supports nearby to protect them? The adc to survive with half health or something? You know what would happen if Vayne survived? She would E him onto the wall and he would probably die to him. Assassins are supposed to kill the adc, that's their intended role.

So I'm going to ask you this: assuming the hydra exploit was fixed, what should happen in this kind of situation? I'm willing to listen, tell me what should have gone down.

I agree. i have yet to figute out what this circle jerk is about here on Rengar.

He's a full AD Assassin that

Blew ALL of his skill
Blew ALL of his actives
Used them all used them all in a flawless are coordinated method

and we want to ask why the hell the squishies with no resists and 1.3-1.8k health Died to this guy when he literally threw everything he owned AND could take out a loan for at them?

I mean really people. Zed does the same damn thing but just 2 seconds slower and with CONSIDERABLY more safety. Rengar practically has to take a walk of shame away from wherever he left his last bloody mess at because everything is now on cooldown.

We really wanna whine the Rengar does it so fast when he leaves himself so much more vulnerable than other assassins ( Zed Talon Katarina ) when they've finished killing people.

talon not as safe as kat and zed but his ult can kill secure and be used to excape at the same time. kat can shumpo and zed can shadow out.

these guys really just need to take the Entire champion into account. and not just his time to kill your lonesome and isolated ass when you should have been leg humping your team like a good adc.

NO other champions can kill someone as fast as Rengar does. not even a fed katarina, that's 0.01 seconds right there. there's 0 counterplay, when you know he's there, its already too late to put a pink or anything that you might say would help, because he kill's you in 0.01 seconds, as a support, you have to predict the exact millisecond where rengar will jump, so you can cancel it, shield your adc (lol wont help anyway) or if you're janna, just slap him in the face.

The difference is that most assassins actually have some measure of counterplay. Rengar gives you no warning and then instantly kills you.

This is Ninfang (Ryan Choi), check his youtube montages. I don't know if he is still using this build. Some Rengars go for IE and PD now.

This Rengar builds full armor pen (Hydra, Brutalizer, Ghostblade, BC, LW, Triforce), I've watched him on youtube, so he is basically dealing true dmg. Other Rengars build full crit for even greater burst vs squishies, but can't deal with tanks unlike the armor pen build.

You realize that winrate isn't the only indicator of a champion's balance. Hence the fact that Azir just got nerfed even though he was at a sub 50 winrate and Ryze can't be buffed even though is winrate is incredibly low.
