idea to deal with a large portion of the toxic community.

what if riot charged you to play on a monthly bases to have access to ranked? it would still be a "free" game, as other games are considered "free", despite having extra features for those who pay monthly.

this would remove a large portion of toxic and griefing players from ranked for one reason who wants to pay money to go griefing? trolls troll because its free 9/10 times.

additionally, this would increase riots revenue. which would allow for more servers = less ping in places. this would also make ranked players communicate more and continuously try to improve. unfortunately if you give someone advice in this game the majority of reciprocates will flame you/ignore you. players in solo-queue, from bronze-gold all think their way is always right.

TLDR: monthly fee for access to ranked =

1. less trolling/toxicity
2. more communication
3. a higher amount of lust to improve and accept constructive critism
4. more server rooms which = a better gaming experience for many players.

downsides: ranked queue's would increase in duration due to less players queued up (doubt any charge in bronze/silver/gold) considering the massive amount of people in these brackets

i know this much. id be willing to be pay $20/month to have access to ranked if it meant a better ranked community and improved servers.
