Why is Ravenous Hydra not bought on Jax/Irelia?
I am always looking at ProBuilds when I want to find out the most optimal champ build... wouldn't hydra be a super optimal rush item?

Sheen is just too good plus the attack speed from Trinity as well and then bruiser is the way to go after that since that item is enough to deal massive damage if you win the lane.
no because bork deals %damage on auto and the point of building bork on these champs is so their damage doesn't fall off because jax and irelia have good kits but they don't have the ad scaling of a riven or a renekton so while hydra will give a good early-mid game it would cause jax and irelia to fall off late game very badly basically the %damage helps their damage stay relevant throughout the entire game while they can also build extremely tanky
Sheen procs are too good on them for duals and splitting, and if you want a second dmg item you get Bork simply because it does more dmg vs. Champions. Also you want some attack speed since both are split pushers and want to take turrets fast hydra does not provide AS or anything else to take turrets faster like Bork and trinity force do. Also hydra is more of an early game item where both Jax and Irelia are mid/late game champions.
Hydra, Ghostblade, zypher and BotRK are all great options for Irelia as a secondary offensive item and I will say in that order.
Hydra provides waveclear and more burst. This is usually my first choice for a second offensive item
Ghostblade for single target burst and turret killing
Zypher for more tenacity and movement speed what is not to love when you have armor boots.
BotRK for tanky enemies without tons of armor.
irelia and jax want items that help increase their burst on their spells and not their autos generally.
