Why does Zed's ult amplify BotRK active?
Shouldn't Zed's ult be changed to only amplify damage he deals with his auto's and abilities?

It says right on the tooltip "all physical and magic damage"
The ult get's amplified by everything, not onnly Zed's abilities afaik.
Because having his ult amplify only his damage would make too much sense from a balancing perspective and Riot can't allow that.
I think you mean why does the BotR amplify his ult.
The BotR doesn't get amplified itself.
I beliebe thats intentional. Any physical or magical damage dealt by zed is accounted for. And the bork is technically still damage dealt by zec, regardless of it being an item.
be nice if it worked this way for sure. always thought it was silly how much damage zed does with a 25 AD item. his W passive is a big part of the reason he's able to get away with it.
title was slightly ambiguous. made me think zed's getting a fizz like nerf and got me excited and browsing through Surrender@20 PBE patch notes :( thanks a lot OP >:(
Zed = Poppy v2.
46.42% Zed's win rate.
Seriously stop crying about this champion and get better at the game.
After 3 seconds, Death Mark will trigger, dealing flat physical damage plus a percentage of all phsyical and magic damage dealt to the marked champion while it was active.
that's why it does.
The other thing is that his ult lets him circumvent a lot of bork's %current health. Since it just accumulates damage, all of that %current health you had when you were at higher health is amplified
