One thing I think Kayn could use is the ability to track which form is "winning"

I'm not entirely sure how it works, but it seems as though the "winner" of the struggle is determined by what kind of champion you attacked last before the circle is filled up. In my second game as him I tried to go for Rhaast so I ganked top lane and counterjungled a bunch to meet the only melee enemies, but the circle was filled with the orbs I got from attacking the enemy ADC so I ended up with Shadow Assassin. I'm not sure how it'd be done, but I think some clarification on how this works would be helpful.

Im pretty sure there are actually two bars but it only shows the one that is "winning".

Nope, he's right, only the last orb determines which sides wins, so you can fight a ranged champs in the lane phase but if you get the last orb from a melee champ you get the Darkiin form winning.

You can test it in a practice game hitting dummies (they give red orbs) and then the Ranged Bot for last and you'll get Shadow Assassin.

Sounds weird.. I dont think thats how it works, I remember fighting melee champs top, then I ganked bot vs 2 ranged champs and got blue souls, but the bar didnt move at all.

Yeah nevermind, you're actually right, my bad. I wanted to see it when I was in practice mode yesterday with Kayn but it seems if you reset the game the bar fills faster so I thought it only counted the last orb absorbed.

Easy solution: Have the bar fill up to the right for assassin and to the left for the bruiser and meet together when full.
