Why are certain champions privileged?

The other day I was playing Jax and I was building devourer so as soon as I got my devourer I went straight to dragon. As I was fiercely dueling with the dragon spinning my lamppost as if there was no tomorrow I noticed something that was wrong. My e (Counter Strike) was not blocking dragons attacks. The only reason I found this odd was because (Not positive I was a little spacey in my earlier years.) I thought I remembered that my e used to block dragon attacks.

Now you may ask, but what does this have to do with other champions? Here is where I get to my point. Today I was playing Yasuo. I went to go dragon with my team and placed down my w. (Windwall) Unlike Jax, Yasuo's windwall blocks the dragon attacks. The point of this post is not complaining about how Yasuo is op rather why does his w work where Jax's doesn't? I'm pretty sure there are other occurances of this type of thing where one champion will get something and another will not.

On another note back to Jax. This is just an odd thing that doesn't make much sense. His e blocks baron attacks but does not block dragon attacks.

Dragon's basic attacks are treated as spells and deal 100% splash damage to enemies in an off-centered circle.

Jax's Counterstrike blocks autoattacks. The dragon's attacks are considered spells.

Yasuo's windwall blocks projectiles. The Dragon's spells are projectiles.

Pretty simple.

Well thank you for the explanation then. No need for negativity from the rest of you tho.

Wut? Not all champions work the same? Reported.

They had to change the blocks or w/e because panth would solo dragon at level 2 or 3. So maybe jax got hit with it. Anyways even if yas took Windwall at level 3 I dont think he could solo the dragon so it is kind of an invalid argument.

Jax dodging attacks and Yasuo blocking projectiles are two different mechanics.

Jax's E probably did block Dragon attacks before Summoner's rift got updated. Riot made a big post about it back then about how the Dragon's attacks are going to be considered spells instead.

EDIT: I'm saying that the change was made when the Dragon got updated along with Summoner's rift. You probably did block Dragon attacks before then.

Agreed! I mean, how dare a champion work differently from another?

Like the other day i was playing Nasus and i couldnt heal my team! What the fuck Rito, how come Soraka can heal her allies but Nasus cant? God damn privilege.

Dragons attacks are now spells so Jax E and Pantheon shield wont help you. Also the idea that some champions get something while others do now... is the entire idea of having unique champions.
