I was leaning towards . If you were the best fiora versing the best top laners, I think shed win most the matches. What do you think?

Yeah he is pretty good, but some games id get 21 kills but still couldnt carry with him.

Yeah, ill give them a try. Timing the barrels with gangplank is just too complicated for me at the moment, but ill practice.

It's between Kayle and Teemo. Their range allows them to generally bully out any other top laner and get a huge lead. If you were the best at either of them clearly it'd be a nightmare for the other. Both of which when ahead can easily make the enemy team sad beyond compare. Jax is pretty stupid even in top lane but his early game is a bit weak compared to the other two but his late game is basically 1v5 and leave with nearly full hp

About tank toplaners, for sure Maokai and Malph

One CC ability, tanky-low damage (unless AP Malph) She should definitely win lane, spoken from experience

I always counter picked Fiora with Malph, start with doran and 2 pots, poke till lvl 6, the start to trade, if Fiora is smart, she will not use her W, but if she is stupid (95% of the time) you can easily won shot her if she have around 60/70% hp

Can confirm that Fiora players are stupid, Fiora mains however, are not. Also when I'm vs Malph, I try and keep harassing so his shield is never up and so he can't all in

Mk, are we going for best top laner meaning fun, or like win % and just over all standing of damage and such?

Irelia is a fucking monster right now, iv'e lost matchups against her now that i would usually beat, like Riven vs Irelia, Riven usually would win, but god damn Irelia just out-sustains her now by building just a tri force and gauntlet... It's fucking annoying as hell, and ironic as hell considering shes the most nerfed champ in League and is famous for her memes about nerfs, yet here we are, needing a nerf because of ITEM CHANGES.

I never blame the champ for nerfs, it's always the items fault. Like Tank Yas, this shit is just annoying... He was fine before people started building item 3046 item 3022 item 3053 , but now he is getting nerfed because of top lane yas tanks xD

Id'e go with Irelia right now, she just makes me want to bash my head against a wall with her level 6 turret dives not even losing half her hp even after getting stunned under the turret and eating 2 shots during the stun... Like god damn, how OP does one have to be before Riot nerfs them now a days... But again, i blame the items people build on her.

Why the hell would Irelia buy both Trinity Force and Iceborn Gauntlet? That's just a waste of gold.

She isn't even close to the most nerfed champion. She was nerfed for about three successive patches (which spawned the meme) and left mostly untouched since.

probably riven, theres very few match ups you just outright lose (kennen maybe one or two others), any other matchups are anything between favourable and skill matchup.

Gnar, strong lane bully good alsafe laner when behind, strong teamfighter hes probably the best when played to full potential

Gamgplank has been consistantly the best character in the fame for awhile now but i suspect he'll get some major changes somewhere down the lime

Irelia/Gnar if you want a champion that is consistent. They both also have fairly low skill floors and high-ish skill ceilings.

You dont see many Xins top lane tho, but if you do, Xin is pretty useless late game against Fiora. Ill try out veigar top sometime tho, i main him in mid lane.

Xin is worse than Fiora at all points in the game, unless she's really behind or he's really ahead

I didn't have trouble stomping a fed fiora as xin and I wasn't fed, only well farmed. I think its all about staggering your skills to get good sheen procs and saving the tossup for after her parry.

Fiora is my favorite champ. Period. But if you're looking for a main I would look elsewhere. She's fun to play no doubt, but I think other champs offer much better team contributions. I'd recommend Irelia to anyone looking for a top main.

I agree, she is boring. I was thinking later Darius would be a good one to main, but he gets banned more frequently. Fiora is VERY fun, if that's what you're looking for go for her. It would be hard to climb ranked with her though. Fun for norms. Riven is very fun, doesn't get banned much and can be better for a team comp than Fiora.
