I feel mid has the least variance in tanks (though it also has the most variance in champions in general) and as someone who enjoys playing tanks, I'd like to see a few more beyond

(Blitz mid is a guilty pleasure of mine).

Mat7itan1 votesYeah that's true, but making true tanks for mid will make the vast majority of midlaners unviable. This game is in a sense a triangle. Tanks are good against burst (so mages and assassins) who are good against the "damage dealers" (adcs) who are good against tanks. Midlane right now is mages and assassins. Making a dedicated tank for mid will counter the rest of mid.

Once he has 
most mages can no longer poke him out of lane, and after 
he's a farming machine.
He can gank any allied lanes with his ult, and his slows and zone control help him against being ganked, and late game, he will kill an ADC from full health if he can land his entire combo on them while being REALLY tanky
Unfortunately, Sion's actually kinda weak right now. But his kit lends itself well to mid if you can get an AP elsewhere.
