On my last day before kassadin's olafing I trashed a toxic Zed in lane.....

Good night sweet prince, you will be missed :(

What role will Kassadin even fill now? As assassin goes his burst is probably the lowest in the class, obviously to balance out his identifying mobility. Yet with that take a signifigant nerf what is there still to offer? Kassadin's R is at least a blink so his ability to go over walls is more forgiving but beyond that its really hard to justify using him.

You already have his sub-par laning, his delayed power spikes based on his build, and the risks inherent in being a melee/short-ranged character. What do you get in return for all these costs? The single most mobile champion in the game. Except now they've put a dent in that too.

Better nerf nidalee too then, she's at 60% to Kassadin's 40%. High, to be sure but no where the 100% pick ban of his hey day. He hasn't been auto-pick ban in quite awhile. Why? Because he is risky, his laning isn't safe, he needs to snowball, and he's easily counter-picked. Can he run away with games? Hells yeah, but he's got a lot of work to get their, especially in solo-queue where you can rely on a team to help get you going.

When Nid remains this way for over a year, we'll talk.

Either way, I wouldn't use Nid as an example if you're trying to argue Kass didn't need a nerf, lol.

Wait 'till you see his win rate after they nerf his ultimate. The balance team doesn't seem to understand the concepts of range and mobility being directly related to a champions viability. They didn't learn from nerfing Azir's attack range either.

I don't get Riot, really. They state they will always be very careful with range nerfs due to how they can make or break a champion... And then they smack Azir and now destroy Kassadin.
