I just killed a Lee Sin trying to secure his red in his own jungle as Master Yi....
My how the mighty have fallen.
My how the mighty have fallen.
Today, I beat Plague with Cholera
He fucked up.
He fucked up.
His team tried to invade our red, everyone threw down wards then backed away, his bot lane went straight to lane while he we back to his buff, that's probably the problem right there.

Ya that definitely caused an issue lol
They may as well have tried to chuck said wards at you for all the good it would have done.

But they had my red timer so I could kill him again he tries to steal it :D
That moment when a team isn't a team and doesn't help you with leash lol... I had a
try to counter jungle the other teams
and he died every time ( - .-)
WOW!?!!!!
According to Cloth5, Lee has a pretty rough time clearing the new jungle without a leash
My God, are the legends true? Is Lee Sin finally unviable? Nah JK, just wait until his rework goes through.
According to Nightblue3, Lee Sin is still Tier 1, he just needs a leash. I think it depends a lot on what skill you take lvl 2 and how good of a leash you get; Cloth5 has a very fast clear and low sustain for Lee, so I'm assuming they took E second, where NB3 says Lee has good sustain and decent clear, so I'm assuming he took W second. It's hard to really say for sure what's going on; general impressions I've had is that it's very difficult to gank lvl 3 unless you get a good leash and are playing a jungler with at least some kind of sustain/shield (For example, Vi used to have sustain issues, but she's surprisingly strong in this patch; I think her passive helps a lot. On the contrary, Amumu used to be very strong in jungle, but, contrary to what Riot seems to believe, he seems to have a lot of issues in the current jungle; he has a hard time with health and mana sustain without spirit stone)
My guess is if you play a strong early jungler with good sustain (like Pantheon), you can probably kill Lee lvl 2 in his jungle. No guarantees though :P
I was being sarcastic. Lee in his current state is perfect. He has no weaknesses. Hopefully Riot greenlights the rework and turns him into a carry. I'm tired of Lee Sin in his current state.
I know, I was just explaining what I know about Lee so far.
What rework are you talking about? I haven't seen this.

From what you say, that looks pretty promising if you ask me.
Yea, so far early ganks seem pretty tough unless you get a really good leash or are playing a champ with really good sustain; while it could mitigate some of Lee Sin's strengths (early game power and ganks), I feel like it wrecks a lot of other junglers a lot harder; there are a lot of weird picks popping up as high-tier (and other picks dropping) because of the ability to sustain (Kha and J4 apparently have trouble, Eve can't even clear jungle without a leash; yea she was gutted, but she was at least playable before. Meanwhile Nasus and Xin Zhao are apparently very powerful).
I think I'll go back to basics with Udyr until the dust settles a bit more and people figure what the heck is going on XD
My first game on the patch I played Amumu jungle. I can attest it was quite rough early on. Later on he still clears extremely fast, but that first clear is rough, and he already finished his first clear low on health in the old jungle.
Yea I have no idea what riot was talking about when they said Amumu is going to be strong

Of course. Every single jungler needs somewhat of a leash to not leave their first camp with 33% HP, even Warwick.,,
Unless they're
I'm talking about how they end up lvl 3, some junglers, even with two pots and red regen end the jungle at too low hp to do anything, others can stay healthy enough to gank even without a leash.
When the inflated bubble of his perceived strength pop and people realize how weak he has become, thing will be pretty funny.
its alright hes broken as shit as the bronzies say. dont go into his jungle again or he will kill you just by looking at you - bronzes 2014
I mean, he is a pretty powerful duelist at lower levels, so one should be cautious about entering his jungle..

but...
is blind and his eyes are covered up :p
It's a double negative. Putting a blindfold on a blind person grants him omnividence.
So that's why he can see stealthed champions. It all makes sense now.
Lee is and has been crap for a while, he is severely overplayed and teams that are unfortunate enough to have a lee lock in are at a disadvantage most of the time. That is not to say that teams with Lee are guaranteed to lose, because that is a ridiculous notion that is not true for any champ, but they are more likely to lose, and this is true for every bracket of play. Honestly, the people that deny this fact are truly ignorant, and sadly enough, most people seem to fall under this category... but hey, just because we are the smartest animals on this planet doesn't mean we are all smart.
It's not that Lee is underpowered. He's almost useless in teamfights. (except for the one time my friend played as him, got their ADC next to a wall, ulted then immediately Q'd her, and you can guess what happened afterwards) He has really good dueling strength, but the problem with him is that many of the people who say that they are pro as him don't always do well (I'm excluding myself from this as I know I suck at him xD). Lee Sin has a somewhat low winrate in ranked, but that doesn't really mean he's bad. He still has an outrageous knockback, 2 gap closers, and a slow. Strong champ, but a bit awkward and he's really only good in dueling.
wow, that is a crappy lee sin then
Better buff Lee Sin.
O_o, sounds like his team messed up. In this pre-season, once you are behind its very hard to come back from it afterwards. Lee sin is still very good, its just that people are too used to him being able to pretty much require little to no aid in the jungle. Now the team has to act like an actual team.
Happened in the last game I was in as Pantheon. We went and warded their red, I started gromp (for once i got a leash, at least 2/3rds of my recent games are no leash), and as soon as I moved ont o begin blue, the enemy team invaded. I begin pinging like a mad man while running for my life. What does the mid and bot lane do? Continue CSing, even though the enemy team dived under the turret and more than half their health to kill me.
His skills were inferior.
I guess you could say . . . he didn't even see you comin.

I apologize on behalf of the human race.
Praise the lord. his time has finally ended.
y'know all this garbage about the new jungle and sustain problems, why don't junglers just nab heal? it helps with ganks anyway since you can save your carry and restart a losing fight.
Because then you wouldn't have flash, by far the best summoner spell in the game that just about everyone(well, except maybe shaco) takes?
As it should be.
