I need help with Orianna.

I just got her a little while ago thinking she could still be run as a support. Apparently not in this meta. I guess I could learn to play her mid as one of my fall backs but I have no clue how to build that. And I'm not seeing her that much in games so I don't have any good examples. For reference on my play style my other two mid lanes that can play in ranked are Viktor and Cho'Gath, and Kayle. I mostly do Cho and Kayle because I play them like a madman and my poor land opponent has no clue what the hell they just got themselves into until about the ten minute mark when they decide that there JG needs to camp them.

Champion.GG has great tips.

I, personally, enjoy Morello, Abyssal, Sorc Boots, Luden's, etc.

Morello, Zhonyas, Sorc Boots, Luden's, etc. if against AD mid.

Some people prefer Athene's or tear but I find that Athene's has fluctuated so much recently that I'd rather just stick to it's Morello's counterpart.

I'm not a very high elo or anything, but Orianna IS my main. I couldn't tell you how many games I've logged with her but I know it's quite a bit.

As for support, I've not tried that yet this preseason and should probably do that soon.

Anyway, hope I helped some. ^.^ Best of luck mastering one of the funnest champs in league!

I used to play Orianna a long time ago, from what champions you said you've played, her playstyle is more closely related to Viktor, with the high poke and damage.

For me, it honestly depends on what enemy I'm against for what I start building.

If I am going for a more aggressive, and snowbally start, I go item 3174 Athene's unholy grail for the CDR, and the mana regeneration, it's nice for early game sustain, plus the CDR is always nice.

After that, I either get item 3285 Luden's Echo, or item 3003 Archangels staff, then I follow up with something like item 3089 Rabbadons Death Cap, with a item 3165 Nominomicon.

The type of boots I get are situational; I get Ninja Tabi if I'm against an AD middle laner, or sometimes if the predominant type of damage on the enemy team is AD, or the Magic resist one if I'm against an AP mid laner, or the predominant type of damage is AP. Sometimes if I'm feeling like it, I get Ionian boots for the CDR, and spell reduction, or if I want even more movespeed, I get mobi boots, but, that's really rare, I primarily get the AP resist, AD resist, or Ionian boots, but that is really situational

I'm definately not the best Orianna player in the world, nor is she my most played champion, but I do know how to player her decently, anyways, I hope this helped!

peace! :) [slayer-jinx-catface]
